Rams brilliantly troll Russell Wilson over his ‘1-0’ tweet
Russell Wilson was the victim of a brilliant bit of social media trolling courtesy of the St. Louis Rams after the Seattle Seahawks stumbled to a 34-31 overtime loss at the Edward Jones Dome.
Prior to taking the field for Seattle’s Week 1 showdown in St. Louis, the Seahawks quarterback issued a boastful prediction of how things would play out on Sunday, tweeting that he expected to be on the winning side of the scoreboard at game’s end.

The wisenheimers operating the Rams’ official Twitter account obviously took note of Wilson’s overconfidence and shot back a well-crafted zinger at the Seahawks signal-caller.
Hey @DangeRussWilson, don't delete this… https://t.co/MJmLa9lUDW

Boom. Roasted.
It’s worth noting that Wilson — who frequently exudes positive vibes in his social media musings, later took to Twitter to weakly acknowledge that his “1-0” prediction went awfully awry.
Our goal is to go 1-0 every week. We fell a little short today, but looking forward to getting back to work! #GoHawks

Perhaps a few slugs of his Reliant Recovery Water — a supposed miracle beverage brazenly touted by Wilson during a recent interview — will help him get refocused … and possibly a little less boastful in any predictions he chooses to issue heading into a Week 2 showdown with the Green Bay Packers.
