A-Rod snaps photo for couple while out and about in Boston area (pic)
As a member of the Evil Empire, New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez is a marked man in Boston to say the least. But he apparently isn’t so sour on the town and its Red Sox-loving residents that he wouldn’t do a favor for a nice couple while spending some time taking in the sights at Harvard.
With the Yankees in town for a three-game series at Fenway Park, Rodriguez took advantage of some free time to engage in some touristy pursuits. While in Harvard, A-Rod must have been approached by the couple and asked to snap a photograph for them, evidence of which he posted to Twitter which showed taking a pic of the couple in front of a statue on the campus.
“Everyone is a tourist,” the Yankees star tweeted.
The question is: Who snapped the photo of A-Rod? The mystery deepens…
“Technically speaking, it’s relevant to note that Harvard actually is located in Cambridge, Mass., not Boston, albeit just across the river.” But it nevertheless remains smack dab in the middle of Red Sox territory that A-Rod still found himself in enemy territory.
It’s unclear whether or not the two whose photo A-Rod snapped even knew the identity of the Yankees slugger. But let’s be honest, had they known it was Rodriguez, it still would be pretty awesome to have a photograph snapped by the MLB superstar … even for dyed-in-the-wool members of Red Sox Nation.
