Report: Brittney Palmer’s husband facing attempted murder charges
The husband of Brittney Palmer reportedly was taken into custody last month over an alleged violent domestic dispute involving the UFC Octagon Girl on suspicion of attempted murder, according to a TMZ report.
Aaron Zalewski, Palmer’s husband, allegedly flew into a jealous rage on June 11 over a casting director apparently referring to her as “babe” during a phone call. He was taken into custody early the next morning and later released on a $1 million bond on June 12. The Los Angeles Police Department reportedly forwarded the case to the L.A. County Attorney’s Office. Charges have not yet been filed regarding the alleged incident.
TMZ obtained documents from the LAPD that indicate things became violent as Palmer and Zalewski wrestled over the phone. Zalewski allegedly threw Palmer during the struggle, causing her to hit her head on the bedpost.
According to the docs and the TMZ report, Palmer reportedly told Zalewski to “Pack your f—ing bags and go!” and he refused. The incident further escalated with Zalewski pinning her on a mattress face down for a reported two minutes with such force that Palmer allegedly couldn’t breathe.
The documents further allege that Palmer told police that Zalewski injured himself by scratching his own arms. He reportedly also said, “Why are you making me do this? I just wanted you to love me.”
At approximately 1:25 a.m., Palmer was able to call police and Zalewski was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, spousal battery, and criminal threat. As noted, no charges have been filed as of yet as the L.A. County Attorney’s Office reportedly is still reviewing the case.(image via Zimbio)
