Legendary guitarist Slash apparently is something of a Patriots fan (photos)
Legendary guitarist Slash may have cut his teeth in the rock and roll world stumbling around the seedy Sunset Strip in L.A. with his Guns N’ Roses bandmates, but when it comes to his NFL loyalties, the rocker is straight East Coast, as evidence has surfaced that pegs him as a New England Patriots fan.
Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, was born in London but grew up in Los Angeles. But that doesn’t mean he ever developed an affinity for any of the teams that once called the city home. Or if he did, he evidently turned into a Pats backer at some point in his life.
Last week, the Patriots official web site stumbled upon some photos of Slash’s L.A. pad — he recently put the 10,791-square-foot palatial estate (with eight bathrooms and seven bedrooms) on the market for a whopping $10.995 million — and the pics (via Estately) document that the guitarist has several pieces of Patriots-themed decor adorning the walls.
Slash apparently not only have an “Appetite for Destruction,” but an appreciation for Super Bowl dynasties and likely a soft spot for Tommy Terrific as well.
Either way, Slash’s pad is quite the piece of property. No word on whether or not it’s a brownstone … get it?
