Lightning brilliantly zing Jimmy Fallon over ‘NHL Superlatives’ bit
Jimmy Fallon busted out another round of his “NHL Superlatives” routine in honor of the Stanley Cup Final, and took aim at the players currently competing, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Among the observations made about the players included referring to Blackhawks sniper Patrick Kane as “Most Likely To Be A Little Boy Doll Sold On The QVC Network” and deeming Lightning defenseman Andrej Sustr as the “First Person To Be Declared ‘Too White’ For Hockey.”
Other amusing examples (via SB Nation):
Given that it was all done in good fun, the Lightning decided to respond in kind to Fallon’s zingers, shooting out the following tweet that was positively sublime.

The Lightning of course just dispatched the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals, so it couldn’t have played out for perfectly.
