NY dailies go with easy ball jokes in wake of Tom Brady suspension (pics)
The New York dailies again relied upon variations of ball jokes when writing front- and back-page headlines about the four-game suspension of Tom Brady by the NFL over the Deflategate scandal.
In what has to be considered the tabloid equivalent in the headline-writing world to a high-hanger right over the plate in baseball, the dailies were able to swing for the fences with minimal effort and relative ease.

Yeah, it’s almost too easy, right? Of course, the two venerable newspapers were already loosened up and ready to take another crack at balls-related headlines given their snarky antics last week, so, again, the headlines practically write themselves.
