Ill-conceived — or clever — headline makes for easy James Harden poop joke (pic)

Either the headline writers at the Houston Chronicle are scatological wisenheimers or simply missed an extremely obvious poop joke in headline about the Houston Rockets’ playoff seeding in the Western Conference.

Courtesy of a 56-26 record — and coming up on top over the Los Angeles Clippers in a tiebreaker — the Rockets have earned the No. 2 seed and a first round showdown with the in-state rival Dallas Mavericks, with Game 1 on Saturday night in the friendly environs of Toyota Center.

It’s a remarkable accomplishment for the team, mostly attributable to the team riding on superstar scoring machine and MVP candidate James Harden’s back, but it’s another body part on the Rockets guard entirely that comes to mind courtesy of the utterly hilarious headline.

Yep, it reads, “No. 2 Never Felt So Good.”

The juxtaposition of the headline and the photograph used of Harden in a very relieved, very relaxed state certainly makes it seem that the poop joke was totally intentional. And if that’s the case, well played, headline writers. Well played, indeed.
