Cavaliers team up with Cleveland microbrewery on ‘All For One’ beer
With the team’s fans having plenty to celebrate of late as the squad has only dropped two games since Jan. 15, the Cleveland Cavaliers have made a timely partnership with an area brewery. The Cavaliers announced the release of a team-specific, limited release beer that purportedly “embraces the Cavaliers’ ‘All For One. One For All’ spirit,” per an announcement on the team’s official site.
With that in mind, the name of the Session IPA, “All for One,” is particularly fitting. It is brewed by The Brew Kettle, Ohio’s first “Brew-On-Premise” microbrewery, located just outside of Cleveland.
“We’re thrilled for the incredible opportunity to align the Cavaliers brand with The Brew Kettle’s 20 years of experience in the craft beer market,” said Kerry Bubolz, president, Business Operations for the Cavaliers Operating Companies, per the report. “They’re an established family business in the Cleveland community who we’re happy to team up with to provide our fans with a personalized local Session IPA to enjoy!”
“We wanted to brew a Session IPA that was truly ‘One For All,'”, said Jack Kephart, Head Brewer at The Brew Kettle. “Our goal was to give ‘All For One’ the hop flavor and aroma of a typical IPA in a lower ABV, but with a lower perception of bitterness that the casual beer drinker would find approachable.”
“All for One” is a “hop forward brew” that is “packed with big fruity, citrus flavor and brewed with the addition of the spicy character of rye malt.”
The Brew Kettle will officially release the IPA on March 25 at its taphouse and eventually the beer also will be available at Quicken Loans Arena.
