Marcin Gortat engages critics on Twitter, tells one hater, ‘Cry to ur mama!’

Marcin Gortat finally decided that enough was enough with all the bile, hate and vitriol directed at him on social media. So the Washington Wizards center engaged some of his haters on Twitter, in particular some Chicago Bulls fans presumably disappointed with their favorite NBA team’s 105-99 loss to the Wizards on Wednesday night.

Gortat posted the following tweet following the win, presumably in response to a litany of tweets from Bulls apologists whining about the loss, at least from Gortat’s perspective.

But Gortat did not limit his responses to Bulls fans. He also replied to some Wizards fans who were ripping him.

And last but certainly not least, Gortat issued a brilliantly amusing smack talk beat down of one last hater.

This last serving of haterade is in reference to Gortat’s newly fashioned mohawk, a hairstyle he debuted earlier this season. But “cry to ur mama”? That’s a pretty awesome response to a ridiculous criticism.

The big man known as the “Polish Machine” is an eccentric fellow to say the least, which of course is about the nicest way to refer to a man who admits he sometimes shaves his armpits. To each their own, of course, but still.

For the record, Gortat is averaging 12.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. While Gortat isn’t quite tearing up the hardwood, his numbers nevertheless are not worthy of a “Ur sucking” missive on social media.
