Four-star recruit Quart’e Sapp takes pic of himself in bathtub full of letters (pic)
Being a highly touted, much-coveted high school football player can be a heady, often overwhelming experience.
From visits by big-name coaches from big-time programs to seeing scouts in the stands at games to both official and unofficial visits to campuses all over the country, a recruit’s senior year can be a busy, stressful time.
And that doesn’t even include the absurdly voluminous amount of correspondence a highly sought-after recruit will receive in the mail from programs interested in availing themselves of a recruit’s football-playing services.
Quart’e Sapp, a four-star linebacker prospect out of Alpharetta, Ga., recently elected to have some fun with the incredible amount of letters he’s received of late by sitting in a bathtub and covering himself with all the correspondences.

Tennessee, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Missouri and Arkansas are among the schools in pursuit of the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Sapp. The senior is ranked as the 25th-best linebacker prospect in the nation (308th), according to 247Sports.com, which makes one wonder how much mail a top 10 recruit probably receives … perhaps enough to fill up a backyard pool in some cases. Or at least a really big hot tub.
