J.J. Watt to appear in ‘South Park’ holiday episode that also features Redskins (vid)

J.J. Watt’s magical season on the field continues to capture the fancy of the nation and no further documentation is needed than the news that the Houston Texans defensive dynamo (and freelancing tight end) will be featured in the upcoming holiday-themed episode of “South Park.”

Because, of course, being the subject of satire is indeed the sincerest form of flattery. Or something like that.

Set to premiere on Wednesday night, the episode is entitled,”#Happy Holograms” as it features holograms of such luminaries as Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain and Michael Jackson (as Peter Pan), but also carries the theme of “The Washington Redskins Go F— Yourself Holiday Special.”

“South Park” of course set its sardonic sights on the Redskins earlier this season in the season premiere of the long-running series’ 18th season in which Dan Snyder, Robert Griffin III and Jay Gruden, among others, were parodied.

But the upcoming episode, while not NFL-centric, nevertheless will feature both Watt and the Redskins, although the Texans star presumably won’t be mocked and ridiculed to the degree the Redskins have been by Matt Stone, Trey Parker and company.

Here’s a preview of the episode, which surely will become an instant holiday classic.
