Timberwolves fan gives away ticket to home opener by taping it to street post (pic)
The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the team’s home opener Thursday night against the Detroit Pistons at Target Center.
One individual who will not be in attendance is the fan who taped his ticket to the game to a street post, offering it up for free (obviously).
Sure, the T’Wolves may not be a playoff team, what with trading away Kevin Love and having a roster filled with inexperienced young players, but it seems a bit early to be jumping off the bandwagon already.
Well, if there actually is a Timberwolves bandwagon.
On the other hand, perhaps this is part of a pair of tickets and the person who is trying to part with the ticket simply doesn’t want to attend the game with the cretinous yahoo … or ex-girlfriend.
Worth noting, though: The Wolves sold 300 full season-ticket packages in the week following the Kevin Love trade that brought Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and Thaddeus Young. So maybe not all hope is lost.
