Peyton Manning may have thrown three touchdowns in a 31-25 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Thursday night, but not was all well in Crabbypants Kingdom, otherwise known as Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Manning rules his lands with an iron fist and is willing to impose his harsh judgment against any and all who interfere with his quest for excellence as he lords over the gridiron.

The Denver Broncos record-breaking quarterback found himself quite perturbed with his minions Thursday and wasn’t afraid to let the responsible parties know the ways in which they displeased him.

The fans in attendance were cheering far too loudly for Lord Manning. This made him very unhappy. Despite his commands to quiet down, his subjects would not heed his demands for silence.

In fact, so angry Manning was with the fans for defying his decrees for silence that it appears, in extreme frustration, he told them to “Shut the f**k up!” as he exasperatingly stormed away from the line.as he exasperatingly stormed away from the line.

But in an act of benevolence for his adoring people, Manning afterward found a scapegoat of sorts for the fans and their boisterous revelry: The scoreboard operator, as Manning referred to the individual, should be blamed for riling up the fans and whipping them into a frenzy courtesy of his in-stadium visual wizardry.

And Manning insisted that said scoreboard operator will pay dearly for his affronts to the quarterback … by getting a stern talking-to from the perturbed passer.

“I have no problem with our fans. Our fans are great. I’ve got a problem with our scoreboard operator,” Manning said. “I’m gonna have a little talk with him. I’m not sure what he’s doing”

“He was playing music, showing people — showing players dancing, getting the crowd fired up while we had the ball. I don’t think we should be doing that. I don’t think we should be showing their quarterback on the sideline. I thought that was kind of disrespectful. Our fans are great, our fans are loud, so the scoreboard operators … it wasn’t his best night.”

Jeez Louise, man. Imagine if the Broncos had lost. Manning would have had to unleash hell upon his kingdom.
