Chris Long, Rams treat Jo-Lonn Dunbar’s body like a corpse in great prank (pic/vid)
St. Louis Rams linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar may be in his seventh NFL season, but that did not prevent his teammates from perpetrating an elaborate prank at his expense, a ruse so morbidly sinister it was more befitting a rookie than a veteran.
When Dunbar made the decision to sneak in a snooze on a training table on Tuesday, Chris Long and other Rams players decided to make him pay for his innocent, sleepy mistake.
The Rams players staged Dunbar’s prone body as if it was a corpse, all the way up to placing a mock tombstone above his head, which along with his name (misspelled) and lifespan, read, “They don’t make ’em like me anymore.”
How Dunbar responded to an airhorn being blasted made the dead body bit somewhat fitting, as when the loud honk was sounded, Dunbar did nothing more than briefly raise his head before dropping back into his peaceful, albeit not eternal, slumber.
Long writes on Instagram, “And before he went back to sleep for another 30 minutes he told me ‘they don’t make em like me anymore.’ It was a #napfortheages:
Bravo, Rams players.
