Cop drops Ole Miss fan approaching Nick Saban with nonchalant clothesline (video)
The Alabama Crimson Tide were upset by the Ole Miss Rebels 23-17 on Saturday. As rambunctious fans overreacting to an outcome of a game are wont to do — it wasn’t that shocking of an upset, right? — Ole Miss backers stormed the field at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium after the game.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban was attempting to make a hasty retreat off the field and to safety as the mass of humanity spilled onto the field.
One Ole Miss fan got a bit too close for comfort to Saban and thankfully for the coach, a State Trooper put the kibosh on the fan possibly getting any nearer to Saban by nonchalantly sticking out his arm, somehow immediately dropping the field intruder with seemingly minimal effort.
Wow, that dude just dropped, man. Well done, sir. Get that peace officer a commendation. And maybe an invite to join the WWE.
