Knicks owner James Dolan performs rocking kazoo solo on ‘Good Day New York’ (video)
New York Knicks owner James Dolan fancies himself as something of a musician. He and his band, JD & The Straight Shot, routinely perform concerts in New York and the owner has been known to clumsily incorporate his side job as band frontman into his primary, much more lucrative vocation.
But it wasn’t until Tuesday that Dolan confirmed for the masses his true musicianship. During an appearance on “Good Day New York,” the Knicks owner busted out an infrequently used instrument for a rollicking and rocking solo.
Watch as Dolan makes the kazoo sing as the “Good Day New York” hosts awkwardly rock out to the soothing and squeaking sounds.
That’s a whole lot of awkward right there. Mercy.
Here’s some more video.
I have no idea what in the heck Dolan is singing about in this song. Politician’s eating habits? What the fungus?
