Washington Redskins rookie running back Lache Seastrunk may have given a reasonably good accounting of his talents during Thursday night’s preseason game against the New England Patriots — 12 carries for 63 yards — but what is generating buzz on Friday is not his play but his disturbingly long fingernails.
Seastrunk was interviewed on Comcast SportsNet’s post-game show and viewers noticed that sixth-round pick out of Baylor was rocking the aforementioned nails of astonishing length.
Screen grabs were passed along to D.C. Sports Bog:

Yamma hamma. It’s fright night. Does he want to look like a vampire or something?
While Seastrunk may make a name for himself in the NFL for his talents, it may be wise for him to trim those bad boys back a bit. Otherwise, no matter how good of a running back he turns out to be, he’ll forever be known as “That guy with grotesquely long fingernails.”
Seriously, are they real? Let’s hope Seastrunk was having some ill-advised fun and those are like Lee Press on Nails. Those are still available, right? And if those are Lee Press Ons, he should have went with the French Manicure version. Much fancier.
