Miss Universe, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA take in Yankees game from bleachers (video)
While it’s somewhat shocking the three young ladies couldn’t land better seats, Gabriela Isler, Nia Sanchez K. Lee Graham — Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, respectively — nevertheless were in the stands at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday and took in the home team’s hosting of the Detroit Tigers.
The reigning, uh, crown-wearers were seated in Section 203, which just so happens to be the seating area for the legion of rowdy Yankees fans famously known as the “Bleacher Creatures.” Renowned Bleacher Creature “Bald” Vinny Milano, who does the section’s infamous “Roll Call,” even made an appearance as the girls were profiled, inserting himself right between two of the young ladies.
Yeah, he’s the bald one. Obviously.
Thankfully, all three young women apparently made it out of Yankee Stadium and the infamous section without incident and any permanent psychological trauma. Which is nice. But from a photo posted to Twitter later it appears that the gals were transferred to a more secure and safer seating area.

But before they did, the three even took a moment to take a group selfie.

Looks like a grand time was had by one and all. It is worth noting, though, that this isn’t the first time that beauty pageant contestants (although these three were winners, not mere contestants) have made an appearance at a New York ballpark. Granted, it was in the make-believe land of network sitcoms, but Miss America contestants once took in a ballgame during “The Chaperone” episode of “Seinfeld.”
Hopefully, no hipster doofus got his mitts on these young ladies so he could better inform them on the nuances of what is required to be a pageant winner — “POISE COUNTS!” — as the three clearly already know how to accomplish that endeavor.
