Chrissy Teigen before first pitch at Dodgers game: ‘Crap I’m pretty drunk’ (pics/vids)

Chrissy Teigen thew out the ceremonial first pitch before the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night, and according to the supermodel herself, she may have been a wee bit tipsy before taking the field.

Teigen’s pre-pitch preparations were of course chronicled extensively on social media, including how her father fixed up the family some margaritas for his birthday, tweeting, “Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy birthday!!!!”

Shortly afterward, Teigen revealed she may have had overindulged on pop’s cocktails, tweeting, “Crap I’m pretty drunk” only hours before her first pitch responsibilities.

Then it was off to the ballpark where Teigen engaged in some warm-ups.

Then it was off to the field, where Teigen looked smashing in her Dodgers jersey. According to’s Michael Lananna, Teigen opted for a No. 40 jersey with the name “40 NUGZ,” apparently because that’s her “favorite drunken food at McDonald’s.”

The 28-year-old bombshell next practiced her celebratory hug with Dodgers catcher Drew Butera, who looked quite uncomfortable when the gorgeous young lady leaned in for a practice hug.

At long last, after the pregame margaritas to relieve the jitters — or exacerbate them — it was time for Teigen to throw out that first pitch.

All in all? Not bad. Not bad at all. The first pitch wasn’t too shabby, either.

Here’s a few more looks at Teigen on the field from various angles and sources.

It was awfully nice of Teigen to afford onlookers the visual of her rolling around on the field with her friend after throwing her pitch. Awfully nice, indeed.

Not only did Teigen fulfill her first pitch responsibilities competently while looking phenomenal — not to mention the whole rolling around in the grass with her female friend bit — she even had time to sign some autographs and pose for a provocative photo in what appears to be a Dodger Stadium bathroom.

What a day. Hopefully, Teigen was able to enjoy a few more of her dad’s margaritas after the pitch. You know, to take the edge off.
