Behold, the Johnny Manziel rap song: ‘Johnny Cleveland: Wreck this League’ (video)

Well, that didn’t take long, did it? Johnny Manziel has been a member of the Cleveland Browns and the perceived savior of NFL football in “The Forest City” (no, seriously, that’s one of the town’s nicknames) and he already has had a rap song written about him that extolls his virtues as “Johnny Cleveland.”

Yep, “Johnny Cleveland: Wreck this League” is actually a thing. Of course, the second part of the song title is in reference to what Manziel supposedly texted to the Browns quarterbacks coach while waiting to get selected during the 2014 NFL Draft.

So, no more “Johnny Football,” folks. Okay, he’s still Johnny Football — he stands to lose way too much money by neglecting the cash cow that is sure to be that moniker.

Anyway, the track is from something called “The Aubrey Taylor Experiment” and as far as fan tracks devoted to star athletes is concerned, it ain’t half bad. Not groundbreaking nor will it likely garner a Grammy nomination, but not too bad nonetheless. Why? Because it’s a trip, it’s got a funky beat and if need be, I might be able to bug out to it.
