Sexy Wild superfan Alyssa Nelson devastated by team’s elimination (photos)

Like all Minnesota Wild fans on Wednesday, Alyssa Nelson simply is trying to weather the heartbreak after the team was eliminated from the playoffs by the Chicago Blackhawks when Patrick Kane managed to score a goal off a crazy carom off a stanchion behind the net for a 2-1 overtime win.

The Wild held their own against the ‘Hawks but Chicago’s experience and depth — and the Wild’s inability to cash in on several glorious scoring chances in the ultimately decisive Game 6 — proved to be the elements that left a Western Conference semifinals upset not in the cards for the upstart NHL squad out of St. Paul.

Nelson was primed and pumped to cheer on her beloved Wild on Tuesday night while rocking an incredibly clever “Ain’t No Haula Back Girl” shirt, which of course pays tribute to speedy Wild forward Erik Haula, who came of age during the Wild’s postseason run.

But despite the enjoyable experience of cheering on the Wild and the realization that the team appears primed and poised to remain a force to be reckoned with for years to come given the solid play of youngsters like the aforementioned Haula, Mikael Granlund, Charlie Coyle — not to mention the steadying influence from the veteran leadership exhibited by the likes of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter — it is still a sad day in Minnesota, as Nelson’s tweets certainly attest to.

Keep posting provocative photos, that’s what she should do for the next couple of months, am I right? Like this one, for instance:

Or how about this collage?

Can’t forget about this one:

Yeah, that’s the stuff.

Buck up, Miss Nelson. The 2014-15 season will be upon us before you know it. Until then, your fellow Wild fans are feeling your pain. Just keep on keeping on, girl.
