Bubba Watson visits his childhood schools, serves up pizza in green jacket (photos)

Bubba Watson has eschewed attracting a lot of attention to himself by making the customary rounds and taking part in a huge media tour in the wake of winning his second Masters earlier this month, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been out and about while rocking his green jacket.

Bubba returned to his hometown of Bagdad, Fla. last week for a congratulatory reception at the Osceola Municipal Golf Course, a track he played frequently as a youth. While in town, he paid a visit to the elementary and high schools he attended as a kid. He even footed the bill for 450 pizzas and served up slices to students, all while rocking his green jacket.

Look out for grease stains! It wasn’t all fun and games for Bubba, though. The class act that he is, along with the fact that he has never forgotten where he came from, Bubba also plunked down a $35,000 check for new computers while attending a pep fest in his honor in his old high school gym.

Later, he posed for a class photos with every grade at Bagdad Elementary School.

What a great guy. Between the charitable acts, the authentic modesty and the fact that he celebrated his Masters win at Waffle House and left a huge tip, he’s the whole package.

You gotta love the Bubba!
