Grown ass man steals ball from little kid during Yankees-Red Sox game (video)
A grown ass man went into full jagoff mode during Wednesday’s tilt between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park when he stuck out his greasy mitts and snatched a ball seemingly intended for a youngster.
The sad scene played out during the bottom of the third inning when Red Sox infielder Xander Bogaerts, presumably waiting for his turn at the plate (he’s holding a bat), scooped up a ball that had rolled near the on-deck circle and appeared to be throwing it to a little kid seated in the front row.
It’s when Bogaerts tosses it to the youngster — a Yankees fan, no less — is when the grown ass man maximizes his douchebaggery quotient by swooping in and stealing the ball away from the kid. Jerk.
I could be wrong, but doesn’t it look like the guy is saying something to the kid, like, “Tough luck, you little mongrel.” If not, the guy clearly notices that he has just pilfered a souvenir ball out of the waiting hands of a little boy.
This is the second consecutive day a grown ass man has shamefully stolen a souvenir away from a kid. During Tuesday night’s game between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning, an adult snatched a stick out of the hands of Habs player Max Pacioretty as he attempted to hand it off to a young fan. And that was only the most recent example. Crap like that seems to occur with alarming regularity.
What in the hell is going through the minds of these grown ass men? Are these poor examples for human beings that selfish, that oblivious to the standards of common decency?
It’s an epidemic of douchetastic proportions!
