Idiot Rangers fan storms field, flashes thumbs up before he’s tackled (pics/vid)
A fan with more bravado than brains briefly interrupted the Texas Rangers-Seattle Mariners game at Globe Life Park in the seventh inning on Wednesday night.
The moronic field invader did manage to execute a pretty amusing “thumbs-up” pose before being tackled by security.
Well played, idiot guy. But this is what happened to him shortly after flashing his thumbs in smug satisfaction.
Video also has surfaced of this guy’s imbecilic act of trespassing.
According to the person who posted the video to YouTube, the likely inebriated nitwit yelled, “I’m going to be on ESPN tonight!!” right before he hopped over the fence for his sad grasp at 15 seconds of infamy.
The more often we see these ridiculous acts of skullduggery, the more my opinion falls in line with the extreme opinion of Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones on how to deal with these ingrates, even if the MLB wasn’t fond of his vitriolic commentary. “Tase the s–t out of them,” indeed.
