David Ortiz takes selfie with President Obama because of course he did (photo/GIF)
David Ortiz got in on the selfie action Tuesday during the Boston Red Sox’ visit to the White House to celebrate the team’s 2013 World Series title, but his partner in crime was quite the esteemed individual: President Barack Obama.
As you may know, a momentous moment just isn’t a momentous moments anymore unless it is memorialized with a damn group selfie. Thanks, Ellen.
As the President was presented with his Red Sox jersey, Big Papi capitalized on the moment, produced his cell and snapped a selfie, something Obama was more than happy to accommodate, as the POTUS leaned in to to make the shot easier.
There you have it. White House selfies. Only in America!
Of course, a White House selfie could only occur in America, for obvious reasons. But you know what I’m getting at.
But here’s the question: Where’s the selfie of Jonny Gomes and Obama where the two are rocking their twin American flag blazers? That’s what I want to see.
