Chris Bosh uses title of Spandau Ballet classic to assess LeBron’s future in Miami

Olympics Day 1 - Basketball

Okay, that headline is misleading a bit. It’s not like Chris Bosh uttered a title of the 1983 pop classic from Spandau Ballet — “True” — in order to articulate his thoughts on LeBron James’ long-term future with the Miami Heat.

Of course, we all know that LeBron can opt out of his contract with the Heat in July and take a crack at free agency. Bosh was subjected to a series of true-or-false questions by the hosts of “The Dan Le Batard Show” on Tuesday. Not surprisingly, an inquiry regarding LeBron’s future was posed.

Via the Bleacher Report:

The final true-or-false question is the one that will get the most attention.

Le Batard asked whether Bosh—who can opt out of his contract after this season—will be in Miami next year.

“True,” Bosh answered.

“And so will LeBron…,” Le Batard continued.

“True,” Bosh replied.

He knows this much is true. Apparently.

So, there you have it. Bosh believes LeBron will stick around and I got to make a hackneyed reference to Spandau Ballet through dubious methods. Everybody wins. Uh-ha-ha, uh-ah-ah.
