Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski make appearance on ‘Entourage’ movie set (photo)

New England Patriots teammates Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski have been enjoying some “Bro Time” while hanging together on the set of the upcoming “Entourage” movie.

Edelman, who reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Patriots that may be worth up to $19 million, tweeted a photo of the pals — looking sublimely brotastic, it should be noted — on a relatively unpopulated part of set of the film inspired by the popular HBO series.

The two join teammate Tom Brady and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson as high-profile NFL stars to be spotted on the set of the film in the past week. It wouldn’t be surprising if more big names from the sports world follow.

It was reported in December that Gronkowski would be portraying himself in the flick.

Gronk has been conspicuously quiet thus far this offseason as he recovers from his latest surgery after tearing the MCL and ACL in his right knee in a game last season. Save for an appearance at a children’s hospital dressed up as a wheelchair-bound elf at Christmas, a motorized scooter spotting at a grocery store, and just recently, a surprise appearance on a college campus for an impromptu game of beer pong, it has been almost eerie how little we have heard from Gronk.

That leads me to believe that something big is in the offing, something scandalous. Gronk cannot be contained forever. Sooner or later, he’ll blow, and the madness, typically involving keggers, coeds and booze, will explode in a magnificent display of Gonksanity.
