Iguana attacks Andrew Loupe’s golf ball at Puerto Rico Open (video)

During the final round of the Puerto Rico Open over the weekend, an iguana emerged from the nearby wild to take an up-close look at Andrew Loupe’s golf ball.

The iguana briefly examined the ball sitting in the fairway before making a go at it, perhaps with the intent to eat, maybe to simply play around with the strange-looking spherical oddity. This apparently spooked the lizard, as the little guy bolted immediately from the scene toot sweet.

Loupe finished tied for 12th at the tournament after his ball’s interesting encounter with a member of the island’s indigenous wildlife.
