Marc-Andre Fleury will rock a Steelers-themed goalie mask for Stadium Series game (photos)

In a nod to the team’s in-city, NFL counterparts, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fluery will be wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers-themed goalie mask during the team’s Stadium Series game on Saturday.

When the Penguins will take the rink constructed at Soldier Field in Chicago to take on the Blackhawks, Fleury will don the fantastic mask painted up to resemble a Steelers helmet that was created by Stephane Bergeron of Griff Airbrush, a longtime Fleury collaborator.

Overall, the results of attempting to replicate a football helmet on a goalie mask are phenomenal, save for the chin and lips prominently featured underneath the mask’s cage. That’s a bit creepy, but still pretty cool.
