Ryan Miller’s patriotic new Olympics goalie mask very similar to 2010 version (photos)


Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller unveiled the mask he will sport during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi on Twitter on Tuesday. And from the looks of it, he really liked the one he donned for the 2010 Olympics, as it is very, very similar to one he wore in Vancouver when he led Team USA to a silver medal.

Featuring a musclebound, intimidating Uncle Sam — much like the 2010 version — on one side, the other side is highlighted by a vicious bald eagle.

The custom, patriotic mask again was created via the expert craftsmanship of Bishop Custom Designs and its hard to find anything that isn’t awesome about the mask, including the Russian nesting dolls and his family dog, Puck on the back.
