Older New Orleans Pelicans fan exhausts himself with some killer dance moves (video)
Is there anything better than watching a old guy boogie down? Of course there is, but that doesn’t diminish just how enjoyable this 30-plus seconds of footage from Wednesday night’s tilt between the New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets at New Orleans Arena.
Watch as the elderly fellow throws caution to the wind as he gets extremely winded putting on a delightful show as he sashays left and right, back and forth, all the while remaining fully committed to his moves. I’m calling the dance, “The Eluding Pierre the Pelican Dance.” Because, you know, that mascot is damn creepy, man.
The best part of the video is when he notices he’s being shown on the arena’s Jumbotron. And even though he might be a bit older than the average fan, he does exactly what folks of the younger generation would do once realizing they’ve been highlighted at a game: He checks his cell phone. I’m sure it was blowing up.
