Jameis Winston takes to Twitter to respond to those who criticized how he speaks
Sadly, one of the biggest stories to emerge from a magnificent and entertaining BCS National Championship Game on Monday between the Florida State Seminoles and Auburn Tigers is Jameis Winston’s post-game comments during an interview with ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi and how he spoke during said interview were scrutinized.
Gaining the most attention over the unfortunate controversy was Dee Dee Bonner and Katherine Webb, but social media was abuzz with commentary and condemnation.
And guess what, folks? Jameis Winston couldn’t care less about what anyone says, writes or thinks as it relates to the manner in which he speaks.
Winston took to Twitter on Tuesday and succinctly made it clear that no matter how vitriolic, unfair or ill-advised the comments were, all he cares about is that Florida State won the game and now are national champions.
For the people that criticize the way that I talk this is for y'all. The Florida state Seminoles are national champions! That is all.
