Philip Rivers wears bolo tie, snakeskin boots following Chargers’ win over Broncos (pics)

Philip Rivers may be a city boy now, living high on hog as the quarterback of the San Diego Chargers, but his heart has never strayed from his upbringing in Decatur, Alabama.

Deep down, Rivers remains a country boy. And while he may be more of an Urban Cowboy these days, he’s a cowboy nonetheless, as evidenced by the highly countrified attire he donned following San Diego’s huge road win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.

Rivers met with the NFL Network crew on the field after the game and his outfit did not disappoint. There he was, wearing a nifty bolo tie (above, more on that later) and some very fancy, very fashion-forward snakeskin boots.

While the snakeskin boots may or may not be the regular go-to footwear of choice for Rivers is unknown, the bolo tie makes regular appearances in Rivers’ wardrobe:

What a fashionable male. And that looks like the same jacket, does it not? The guy really knows how to tie an ensemble together, huh?

Later, after Rivers removed one of his boots to show it off, the camera caught this image:

The image is interesting on two fronts: 1) Rivers’ sock is on inside-out; and 2) As in the case in the screen grab of his boots above, there appears to be a cheerleader swimsuit calendar underneath the NFL Network desk, something that has to be directly attributable to Deion Sanders’ presence, as the analyst was spotted ogling a Jacksonville Jaguars calendar a few weeks back:

Ha. What a perv.
