Jenn Sterger attended Halloween party as Kitana from Mortal Kombat (photo)
Talk about a blast from the past. On not one, but two fronts. The first to be reminded just how much of a stranglehold Jenn Sterger once had on the Internet and second, Mortal-freaking-Kombat, man. Talk about the halcyon days of youth, am I right? Well, if you were young in 2005 when Sterger rocketed to fame courtesy of Brent Musburger and his infamous comment upon seeing her at Florida State-Miami game: “1,500 red-blooded Americans just decided to apply to Florida State.” Touché.
Anyway, if you need to be reminded just how fast time passes on the interwebs and how things that once commanded our attention quickly recede into the shadows, consider this: The last time there was a post about Jenn Sterger on the Sportress of Blogitude was Dec. 1, 2011, eons in Internet time. But then again, it almost feels like it was yesterday.
And still, Sterger looks great — she’s 29 now (wow) — and I’m sure she’s doing well doing with whatever it is she’s doing. Time moves on, life continues and so on and so forth.
That Brett Favre scandal really seemed to take the wind out of her sails, though, huh? Oh, memories.
