Sweet merciful crap, ‘Trojans for Life’ by USC is all kinds of awful (video)
To be honest, I only made it through the first maybe 45 seconds of this video presumably created by students of USC in which they proclaim via a bizarre rap/a capella hybrid song that the University of Southern California is the place to be and that long after they leave its hallowed halls and picturesque campus, they remain “Trojans for Life.” Good on them.
Via its YouTube description:
While the faces who have donned the cardinal and gold have changed over the past century, what it means to be a Trojan has withstood the test of time. Watch the video and see how the USC spirit to Fight On! is lifelong and worldwide.
In all seriousness, let’s give credit where credit is due. It’s a well-produced video and I suppose those providing vocals could be considered talented. But actually, neither of those qualities are helping.
In fact, it only makes the video that much worse. If the brain wizards behind this bad idea video had this kind of talent — both in front of and behind the camera — the question remains: Is this the best they could come up with?” Good grief.
