Good job, Internet: Ray Rice doesn’t like fantasy football anymore
Even though the Baltimore Ravens managed to eke out a 14-6 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, running back Ray Rice had a woefully sub-par game, rushing for only 36 yards on 13 carries, a 2.8-yard average, and caught three balls for nine yards.
Rice also was knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter with a hip injury. While the injury initially appeared to be serious as Rice was down on the field, the running back was able to walk off under his own power and the injury reportedly doesn’t appear to be too bad.
To add insult to injury — literally — Rice apparently had some vitriolic barbs tossed his way on Twitter courtesy of a gaggle of troglodytic fantasy football owners who were unhappy with his performance on the field on Sunday.
That prompted Rice to tweet out the below message, informing his followers that because of a few bad apples, he no longer likes fantasy football.
I was a fan of fantasy football until today so many spiteful and hateful words I still love you all God Bless great win today #Ravens
