This half-RG3 face, half-Redskins logo face t-shirt? Well, it ain’t right (photo)

RG3-redskins-shirt

Ever after setting aside all the arguments regarding whether or not the Washington Redskins should continue to use a name and logo that arguably are insulting —  and at the very least insensitive — to Native Americans, this t-shirt featuring a team logo comprised of half of Robert Griffin III’s face and half the face of the Redskins logo nevertheless remains bad idea clothing. It’s just dumb.

As Kissing Suzy Kolber points out, an unlicensed t-shirt for sale in Ocean City, Md. by no means makes it acceptable to disparage the organization or its fans, but if one were to see a Redskins fan wearing this shirt, by all means should that person be mocked and ridiculed for their choice of attire.

It reminds me of intro to “The Incredible Hulk” television show when Bruce Banner’s face and the Hulk’s face are blended into one face, revealing how two distinct personalities reside in one mind. Somehow, I don’t think RG3 is one-half brilliant football player one-half the visage of an insensitive team logo.
