Hovercraft golf carts popularized by Bubba Watson debuting at course (pics)
As reported previously here at the Sportress, Windy Knoll Golf Club, a course located in Springfield, Ohio, made plans to make two hovercraft golf carts, the far-out, modernized version of the traditionally wheeled golf course conveyance popularized in a viral video in April starring Bubba Watson.
Well, the time to roll out — er, hover out — the new hovercrafts has arrived, as Windy Knoll will be making two of them available this weekend.
According to a tweet sent out by the golf club, the momentous event will highlighted by a “Hover Bash” on Saturday:

Windy Knoll will charge $230 per person for rental of the BW1 hovercraft golf cart, which includes green fees. And earlier this week, the golf club began tweeting out pics of the brand new toys on the grounds and photos surfaced elsewhere:

Looks pretty sweet. But as mentioned before, the combination of repeated visits from the Beer Cart Girl and tooling around in a golf cart hovercraft for the first time spells a recipe for disaster.
