Kristin Wiig impersonates Michael Jordan on Jimmy Fallon’s show (video)
Kristen Wiig arguably is the greatest female comedic talent that “Saturday Night Live” has ever churned out, so perhaps it makes total sense that if a former female cast member was going to impersonate Michael Jordan, it might as well be her.
Wiig, donning an ill-fitting bald skullcap, Nike shoes and MJ’s trademark No. 23 Chicago Bulls jersey, made a grand entrance on fellow “SNL” alum — and soon-to-be “Tonight Show” host — Jimmy Fallon’s “Late Night” program on Monday. And well, it was kinda weird. But hilarious.

Of course, “Wiig Jordan” did a little singing, because why not?
A whimsical — if odd — scene, to be sure. Although something tells me somewhere, in a dingy, dimly lit studio, Horatio Sanz is interviewing a Scottie Pippen-impersonating Ellen Cleghorne for his talk show that airs on some random cable access channel. It just sounds right.
