Metta World Peace reads story from new children’s book to children (video)

During a very special episode of “Blossom” “Access SportsNet: Lakers,” Metta World Peace sat down in the studio surrounded by youngsters and read a story from his new children’s book, “Metta’s Bedtime Stories.” I suppose the notion of having Los Angeles Lakers forward and aspiring author read a story from his new children’s book to children isn’t altogether strange (what should we expect? Seeing the man formerly known as Ron Artest reading his kid’s book to adults?), the sight of a man with such a unique and sometimes-troubled past who has undergone such a profound transformation, both in his personal and public life, well, it’s still takes a little getting used to.

Here’s Metta reading “Mud In My Bed” to the kiddies:

Awesome. The kiddos really seemed to enjoy it. And why wouldn’t they? It’s Metta World Peace, for crying out loud. He’s practically a cartoon character brought to life.
