Billy Butler, Albert Pujols jerseys sewn together yields fantastic results (pic)
The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals renewed the teams’ I-70 rivalry this week with a four-game home-and-home series split between Kauffman Stadium and Busch Stadium.
During Tuesday’s tilt in Kansas City, one clever fan realized that the stitching together of an old Cardinals Albert Pujols jersey and a jersey bearing the surname of Royals designated hitter Billy Butler would yield fantastic, if sophomoric, results.
Yep, if the jerseys are sewn together in such a way, the name reads, “But-jols.” Awesome.
Here’s another suggestion for how to incorporate a Pujols jersey into a decidedly immature but hilarious jersey mashup: I’m not sure if the teams play each other this season, but if you were to combine the “Pu” from a Pujols Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim jersey and the “per” from a Washington Nationals Bryce Harper jersey, you would get “Pu-per.” That’s pretty funny, too, right? Pooper. Heh.
