Astros vendor fired after bringing snow cones into bathroom stall (video)
A vendor employed by ARAMARK, who runs the food services at Minute Maid Park during Houston Astros home games, was caught on cell phone video dropping a deuce in a bathroom stall with a tray of snow cones he was selling placed on the floor right next to him. Once ARAMARK brass were made aware of the situation, the employee was promptly fired.
Boy, the old adage of “Don’t eat the yellow snow” is a fine one, but who knew that the wisdom imparted by it can be applied to when we attend baseball games?
The aforementioned cell phone video and a statement from ARAMARK follow.

Gross. The individual who recorded and turned over the video to the Houston network said, “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This guy is taking a dump. There’s no doubt about it. What sane person could possibly think, yeah this is a good idea. I’ll just put the food that I’m about to sell on the floor.”
New Astros president Reid Ryan — attending his first home game in his new position — issued the following statement: “”The Astros were notified immediately by our partner ARAMARK of the incident involving a vendor on Monday night. We commend the swift reaction displayed by ARAMARK of terminating the employee immediately upon learning of the incident that evening.”
ARAMARK also added that what this vile vendor did is “a clear violation of our food safety practices and are not reflective of our standards.” Ya think? You don’t even want to know what the guy used cotton candy for.
