Former major leaguer Fernando Tatis shows off MS Paint skills on Twitter (pics)


Fernando Tatís had stints with five major league teams (Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets during his MLB career that spanned the years 1997-2010. His big league career was highlighted by winning the 2008 Sporting News Comeback Player of the Year Award and for hitting two grand slams in one inning in an 1999 game during his time with the Cardinals.

But without baseball to enrich his life and keep him busy, Tatís has had the time to explore his artistic side. And like many aspiring artists before him, he decided to delve into the complex world of art by using the simple computer program MS Paint.

Breathtaking, inspired work. A rare, raw, but gifted talent. And let’s be honest, if Rembrandt or, uh, some other artist dude, were living in this day and age, you just know MS Paint would be their medium of choice. It’s modern art, people. Deal with it.
