Here’s a model of Arrowhead Stadium constructed entirely out of LEGOs (photo)

Arrowhead Stadium, the longtime home of the Kansas City Chiefs is one of the true treasures among NFL stadiums. A throwback to the old school stadiums of yesteryear — which makes sense, considering it opened in 1972, Arrowhead Stadium is considered a destination of sorts for NFL fans hungry for a true all-day stadium experience.

Even when the Kansas City Chiefs are not fielding a competitive team — which seems to be happening with regularity as of late, it remains a packed house on game day, demonstrating that the team’s fans are among the most dedicated fan bases in the NFL.

While it certainly isn’t the first — nor will it be the last — time that a person or group of people with a ton of time on their hands, not to mention a considerable amount of technical expertise and LEGO savvy, has constructed a renowned stadium entirely out of LEGOs, this particular piece of work certainly is impressive.

On display at the LEGOLAND in a Kansas City mall, little is known regarding the technical aspects of the model, but I can assure you of this: A crapload of LEGOs were used in its construction.
