Rory McIlroy kissed Caroline Wozniacki at Augusta, Darren Rovell didn’t like it (pic)
The Par 3 Contest was held at the springtime splendor that is Augusta National Golf Club on Wednesday, as it is every year in advance of the Masters. The usual sights of adorable kiddies caddying for their daddies, pros letting their hair down and other assorted hijinks occurred, but a public display of affection that transpired on the majestic grounds greatly troubled ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
As reported earlier, Caroline Wozniacki served as Rory McIlroy’s caddie for the Par 3 Contest, and as young couples in love are wont to do, they got lost in the moment and showed affection towards one another on more than one occasion during the day.
And Darren Rovell took to Twitter to complain about it.

Caroline Wozniacki caddied for Rory today. Know they’re dating, but this is too much twitpic.com/cifl6f (via @theslicetweets)

Seriously? What kind of person actually takes offense to a harmless kiss or two, regardless of the esteemed and regal nature of the locale where it happened to occur? Oh yeah, Darren Rovell does.
We’ve made fun of Rovell’s obsession with useless mathematical analyses and other assorted nonsense in the past, but this haughty critique of Rory McIlroy and Caroline sneaking a couple of smooches certainly takes the cake.
Get over it, Rovell. Stop being such a jealous hater.
