Bubba Watson’s Champions Dinner menu loaded with down-home delicacies (pic)
As the defending champion of the 2012 Masters, Bubba Waston, like all defending champions before him, was assigned the task of putting together the menu for the annual Champions Dinner that routinely is held on the Tuesday evening during the week of the tournament.
And the good ol’ boy did not disappoint, as his menu had a distinctively southern flavor to it, featuring down-home delicacies that no one had any reason not to expect from somebody named Bubba.
Bubba tweeted out a photo of the Champions Dinner menu following the festivities, with signatures on it from some of the many attendees (via @bubbawatson):

And a larger photo:
Sir Nick Faldo, three-time Masters winner and lead golf analyst for CBS who will be handling the broadcasting duties alongside Jim Nantz, had some fun on Twitter at the expense of Bubba’s unique and not-too-fancy menu offering:
-@bubbawatson you had a year to decide on, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni & cheese!!! #HappyMeal #PlayLikeaChampion

“@fishippie: @nickfaldo006 wine pairing?”—now that’s funny!

“@jhoke70: Maybe throw in a toy prize at the end if you clean your plate????? #HappyMeal #GoBubbaGo“..10th hole #colouringbook #greatshots!

Classic. Well played, Sir Nick Faldo. Hopefully, his innocent, harmless jabs didn’t make Bubba cry. Goodness knows the emotional guy has enough trouble holding back the waterworks as it is.
