Gods be praised, Johnny Manziel tweets that Texas Longhorns tattoo is fake (pic)
Shock waves were felt throughout the interwebs — especially on Texas A&M message boards — when a photo of Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel posing shirtless with some buddies appeared to reveal that Johnny Football had a Texas Longhorns tattoo inked on his abdomen. Gah!
News of the photo, originally published by Busted Coverage, must have gotten back to Manziel because the Heisman Trophy winner took to Twitter early Wednesday morning to clear up the controversial issue and quell the growing swell of disillusionment and gnashing of teeth at the abomination of it all.
FAKE tattoo..

Well, that certainly puts the kibosh on this story. Or does it? It was only a fake tattoo, after all, presumably to get a rise out of Aggies Nation. A cause and effect situation that was accomplished with remarkable speed and efficiency, as evidenced by the hate tweets directed at Manziel, some of which he perhaps impulsively and foolishly elected to respond to (via Dr. Saturday):
@jmanziel2 I don’t believe you, all you’re is a liar and a cheat.

Hop off? Tell your mom I said wassup? You suck? Methinks Manziel should spend less time trolling Aggies fans via temporary tattoos and more time working on his Twitter comebacks.
Still, the entire affair does beg the question: What grown man actually affixes a temporary tattoo on his body? Granted, it was presumably for a joke, but still.
On the other hand, had photos surfaced of Johnny Manziel’s girlfriend, Sarah Savage, sporting a fake Texas Longhorns tattoo? Now that would have been a different story altogether.
