Obese Florida Panthers fan takes off shirt, disturbingly twirls it above head (video)
An obese Florida Panthers fan caused a flabby disturbance during Sunday afternoon’s game between the hometown Buffalo Sabres and his beloved squad. And while he may love butter and trans fats more than the Panthers, this chubby fella wanted to make sure that the Panthers players were aware that they had fans inside Buffalo’s First Niagara Center.
One could advance the argument that he did not need to remove his jersey for the team to take notice, but this guy probably fancies himself something of a showman. A showman with little sense of decency and a complete dearth of any semblance of modesty. Confidence? Oh, he has confidence in spades, as you will bear witness to in the video below.
The man apparently removed his jersey and began twirling it to celebrate a goal by the Panthers. And although there is no way to make a causal connection nor a correlation between the two incidents, it is interesting how a fight breaks out on the ice shortly after the kibosh was put on his jersey-twirling antics by a member of arena security. It’s almost as if the suppression of this guy’s freedom to let his flabby freak flag fly fired up the fighters. Or something. Either way, it was a sight to behold. And then to promptly try and forget. And for going all out to support his squad, this guy deserves kudos. The complimentary kind, not the milk chocolate and granola bars that go by the name Kudos. Although he’d probably prefer the latter. Because he’s husky, you see.
Still, it should nevertheless be noted that the Panthers were triumphant on Sunday, beating the Sabres by a score of 4-3, meaning the team should hire this guy and have him travel with the team on road trips. At the same time, there is reason to suspect that his per diem could very well bankrupt the franchise.
