Amazing pic of LeBron dunking, highlights and lowlights from Heat-Lakers tilt (vids)
LeBron James scored 39 points, dished out 8 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds as the Miami Heat dispatched the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 99-90 on Thursday night at STAPLES Center in LaLa Land.
With such a high-profile matchup, there were highlights, including the amazing dunk (as well as a few others) from LeBron and company and there was one incomprehensible lowlight, courtesy of a Dwight Howard appearance at the free throw line.
But first, how about that photograph? Absolutely stunning. And get a look at the expressions on the faces of Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. Kobe is like, “Oh my goodness, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little,” and Nash is going, “Hey, eh, what’s that all aboot?” because he’s Canadian and stuff.
Not to be left out, Metta World Peace is in the background and I imagine him thinking, “Screw this, I ain’t chasing him down anymore, I’ve got other…Oooh! Cotton candy!”
The Heat started off quickly, feasting on turnovers by the Lakers and converting them into three highlight reel-worthy transition dunks:
Mercy, mercy me.
And now, here comes the lowlight. Here’s Dwight Howard. Airballing a free throw:
]Yep. In crunch time, even, with the Lakers only down by two. Not good. Not good at all.
