Matt Kemp pays tribute to beloved grandparents with chest tattoo (pics)
Los Angeles Dodgers superstar outfielder Matt Kemp recently had some very meaningful ink injected into his chest. To honor his late grandfather and grandmother, Kemp had a sizable portrait tattooed on the left side of his chest, and the quality of the tattoo, done by artist Jun Cha, is incredibly high quality.
To announce the new ink, Kemp tweeted the following on Sunday with the above photo attached:
If it wasn’t for my grandparents I wouldn’t b where I’m at 2day! #RIP #PaPa @juncha instagr.am/p/Ub7_YOGzWf/

Jun Cha, the tattoo artist behind the phenomenal work, posted photos of the process to his Facebook page, including the one above showing him doing the tattoo along with a close-up pic to showcase how much work went into the tattoo tribute:
A touching tribute to two people who clearly had an enormous impact upon Kemp’s life.
